Mendocino Ballet performs The Nutcracker every December at Mendocino College Center Theatre and a winter ballet, called Les Patineurs (The Skaters) with the second act of The Nutcracker (Land of Sweets), at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg.

A Spring Concert featuring a children's Ballet and our annual Dance Classics is performed at the end of May or early June each year. This year we are performing “Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding”.

Did you ever wonder what happened after the magical kiss that awoke Sleeping Beauty from her long sleep?  The Mendocino Ballet brings this festive story and wedding to life with our upcoming ballet.  An exciting list of guests including Puss in Boots and the White Cat, Cinderella and her Stepsisters, Bluebirds, Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears, along with Royal Guests of the Kingdom, will delight and amuse audiences of all ages.  The beautiful Pas de Deux celebrating the marriage of Princess Aurora to Prince Désiré is blessed by the Lilac Fairy, who lead the Prince to the Sleeping Beauty.

Performances will be held for school children (shorter version) May 30-31 at 9:30 and 11:00 am, and for the general public on Saturday, June 1st at 7 pm, and Sunday, June 2nd at 2 pm at the Mendocino College Center Theater.  Tickets for the School performances can be purchased by calling our office at 463-2290.  Public performance tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for children under 18 in advance and are $5 more at the door.  Please call Mendocino Ballet at 463-2290 for more information.
