Connecting Our Dancers Beyond the Studio
Mendocino Ballet is proud to be a performing member of Regional Dance America/Pacific (RDA/Pacific), a regional organization dedicated to supporting excellence in dance education, performance, and artistic growth.
Since becoming a performing member again in 2022, Mendocino Ballet has had the opportunity to connect our dancers with a broader community of artists and educators throughout the western United States.
What is RDA/Pacific?
Regional Dance America/Pacific brings together dance organizations from across the region to provide dancers with opportunities for performance, education, and artistic exchange.
Through annual festivals, participating companies and schools share their work, attend master classes with distinguished faculty, receive adjudication and artistic feedback, and celebrate the art of dance together.
Why RDA/Pacific Matters for Our Students
For dancers at Mendocino Ballet, RDA/Pacific provides opportunities that extend beyond our local studio:
Perform alongside dancers from across the region
Experience adjudicated performance and artistic feedback
Participate in master classes with guest faculty
Explore diverse styles and approaches to dance
Develop confidence, artistry, and independence
Connect with a larger dance community
These experiences allow students from our rural community to access opportunities that are often found only in larger metropolitan areas.
Mendocino Ballet & RDA/Pacific
As a member of RDA/Pacific, Mendocino Ballet continues to grow as an organization while providing students with meaningful opportunities to challenge themselves artistically and personally.
Our participation reflects our commitment to offering students exceptional training, performance experiences, and connections that inspire a lifelong love of dance.
Mendocino Ballet’s Role in RDA/Pacific
As an active member of Regional Dance America/Pacific, Mendocino Ballet is proud to contribute to the continued growth and success of the regional dance community. Our involvement extends beyond participation, as we support the planning and presentation of RDA/Pacific festivals and help create meaningful experiences for dancers, teachers, and directors from across the region.
